VOCAL CLASSES

Coming up from October 4th, the Unwind School of Music invites aspiring singers for a 12 Day vocal training workshop. The course will lead to a Christmas concert on December 3rd @ Museum Theatre, featuring Chennai’s best. The workshop teaches vocal techniques and learning Christmas songs from artists like Stevie Wonder, Carrie Underwood, Ray Charles, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Alan Jackson, Andy Williams and couple of evergreen Christmas carols ushering in the good cheer.

What’s Unique; - The blend of vocal training and song learning. The course combines exhaustive vocal training with carefully chosen songs that force the participants to practically improve their singing skills. The format has been honed over the years and focuses on making the participant understand powerful techniques and how to use them directly whilst performing. The highlight of the course is the public performance which is an adrenaline shot for the participants, allowing them to perform alongside top artists in Chennai.

Course Content:
Vocal Techniques: Every session dedicates 35 minutes for vocal training and is catered to improve;
- Breath control 
- Pitching sensitivity 
- Tonality
- Rhythm & phrasing
- Vocal Range 
- Harmony

Performance & Songs: Every class takes 45 minutes to learn specifically chosen songs from the world’s best performers. The songs expose the participants to;
- Learn songs of different genres
- Learning phrasing & articulation
- Understand group dynamics
- Voice Modulation & Tone
- Essentials of stage performance

The Performance is booked for December 3rd featuring top performers and choirs from Chennai alongside the participants.
