UNDERGROUND (Since 2001):
“Underground: Battle of the Bands”: The premier College & High School music competition.
The coveted title was for the ‘Last Band Standing’ and the competition was open to High School and College participants.
Genres:
Rock, Metal, Hip Hop, Acoustic, Acapella and the ‘Last Band Standing’ won prizes and instrumentalist.
2003 saw the event go over to neighboring city Bangalore also, and the finalist from both cities competed for the South India Title.

2009 saw the competition cover Cochin (Kerala), Bangalore and Chennai.

2010 will feature a finale by Greg Howe, an american guitarist accompanied by internationally acclaimed musicians like Jude Gold, Gianluca Palmeiri and Kevin Vecchione. Underground will once again attract the best upcoming bands in the city to go head to head for the title and evryone is looking forward to the recepient of the Arjun Vasudev Best Metal Guitarist Award.
