The UNWIND CENTER in association with SAVERA (Group) HOTELS has yet again gone through the exciting phase of training aspiring vocalists and music lovers through the ‘Summer of Love’ vocal course for the 3rd consecutive year. The excitement, the goose bumps are all there and this year the participants do not just perform the songs they have learnt, they put the songs into a narrative drama! So be ready to be enticed and join in for some of the best songs of the last decade.
The accompanying band this year is unique with a French Horn, Trumpets, flutes along with the rock band featuring members of SKRAT, JKF & KONTAGIOUS!

SUMMER OF LOVE - Songs in Drama; The participants learnt over 13 songs in the senior and junior batches and all the songs are orchestrated into a theatre sequence. So now the new voices get to perform in all gusto the songs that they have learnt through extensive vocal training and that too accompanied by a live band.

1. DISNEY THEATRE (Duel Stars): Songs from Disney & Dreamworks animated movies like Road to El dorado, Prince of Eqypt, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Mulan, Pocahontas, Tarzan and more. Age: 8-12

2. SONGS ON LIFE (The Dust Lag): The adults perform songs from Kansas, U2, Queen, Billy Joel, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchel, Sting and many more. Age: 14 – 60 (and wiser!)

The Band:
With the intricate arrangements that are so famous in Disney songs and the music of Sting and U2, the band has taken a completely mature stance on its music. So the rock musicians (from popular rock bands like SKRAT, JFK etc) will showcase a strong leaning towards the orchestral with instruments and arrangements like a French Horn, Trumpets and flutes.

- Anisha Verghese: vocalist, theatre personality, oil-on-canvas artist and upcoming vocalist in the city.
