i) SULK STATION: Fairly new, featuring the eclectic talents of Tanvi Rao (vocals) and Rahul Giri (he plays the Laptop! A mac if you need to know!). Categorized as electronica, trip-hop, what not and sulk! The latter being the band’s operative word. A cursory glance at the response to their tracks like ‘Bindya’ or ‘Wait’ boasts of an image far beyond a sulk phase! Original sounds, precise vocals with harmonies – trippy stuff!

ii) DRONES FROM THE TURBINE: Formed May 2009. Unorthodox beginnings and unique objectives to produce music that is markedly different from the norm – listening to the heart is the thumb rule! Have performed extensively at various places like Rockathon, Opus, Freedom Jam, Poetry slam @ F&B Bacchus, Jungle (Clean &Green gig), Kyra Theatre, Growing Down, Jaaga, The Live Gig (Voted best band), Legends of Rock and Strawberry Fields.

Featuring: Anand - vocals & rhythm guitarist, Pranav (PK) – bass, Jaydev – guitars, Nithin – guitars, Aditya- drums, Ashish - audio-visual psychedelic experience creator!

iii) LOUNGE PIRANHA:
Formed in 2005 and perhaps the only band that has got on a bus and toured 7 Indian cities!! Fresh musical approach (even after 5 years!), committed to their dream and passion; LP has a large community of listeners around the country. 

Define the experience; ambient, textured guitar intros and their finesse over the concept of crests & valleys! Mastery over the art of sustained, riveted interest!! Songs like 'Eclat, Ebb, Snakes & Lotuses' and of course 'Hand Hole' has become an anthem everywhere! Check out an interview with Abhi (The Hindu) after a couple of concerts at Unwind, Chennai.

Apart from songs from their debut album Going Nowhere (rated 4 by Rolling Stone magazine for releases in India that year) LP has a few new songs and that too acoustic guitar based compositions. It’s time again for the LP experience so clear your mind and be there.
